There are so many places I would love to see before I’m gone and each year my list grows bigger and bigger. Here are just two of the places I’m hoping to visit in the next 10 years.

maldivesMaldives Islands:
A set of islands in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Sri Lanka. They are absolutely gorgeous. The water looks bluer than blue and this destination is much more than a tropical paradise. I did some serious investigating a few years ago and calculated exchange rates to American dollars, hotel accommodations and flight expenses. In the end, this is an expensive trip (upwards of $20,000+) but it would be so worth it. The hotels I’ve looked into have glass floors so that you can see the ocean reef and fish below you at all times and the food is apparently spicy carribean like flavors that are absolutely delicious. Ice Hotel:
Located in Sweden, its not much of a getaway vacation as more of an incredible experience. The entire hotel is made out of ice, this includes all the furniture. Be prepared with as much thermal underwear as you can pack. The concept, as I’ve read off the Ice Hotel website, is that you spend one night in an ice room (I really want to stay in the Art Suite) and then a few other nights in a warm room. My husband, who is a major fan of freezing temperatures, will be very excited that this made it on my list. Packages start at about $1500 per person.
