My Mom and I headed out to Bennettsville on Labor Day for one of the biggest horse and tack auction of the year.
We brought home a nice new bridle and saddle, a few lead lines and a pink feed bucket, but the greatest thing of all we brought home was my new horse OLYMPIA CHEYENNE! She is a Tobiano Paint and is fully registered. I adore her. After a few days now she isn’t quite as sweet and quiet as she was at the auction (she could have been doped up or may just be shaken from being in a new environment) but either way, I absolutely adore her and are working really hard to turn her into a fantastic trail horse. Oooh..and tonight I got a new gorgeous saddle off of eBay. Does anyone know where to pick up an Australian Style Saddle Pad?
My Mom’s friend Jennifer also picked up a Draft Paint Pinto. He is a monster, but a very cute one. I told her that she should name him “Mousse”..he is a brown and cream color like the desert and large like the animal, so it fit very well!
Good Night Ya’ll!
